Perhaps an unexpected one – Bruce Springsteen and for multiple reasons. The first being that I hope when I’m in my 70s I might be half as cool! Beyond that, he’s a storyteller who has consistently found ways to adapt to a changing environment and been able to both celebrate and at times chastise Americana.

It’s hard to pick one, from recreating the Rocky training montage for a client to hosting events in front of hundreds of people, I’ve had plenty of good moments. However, producing a short film which premiered at Cannes, to applause, was a pinch me moment.

Anywhere on, or in, the water. In the 2020s this feels like a cliché now, but a bit of outdoor / wild swimming in my opinion is the best way to decompress, release stress and find some time just to ponder.

I did a history degree and for years just wanted to be Mike Loades or Dan Jones, so it’s got to be a TV Historian. And ideally one who gets to test out the weapons! In fact, if the Royal Armouries are reading this, I’m not against a career change.
