Lunch spots in Leeds

We’ve delivered award-winning campaigns for clients like Theakston Brewery and The Compleat Food Group, and proudly support a wide range of other businesses including Lincoln & York, Young’s Seafood, and Rudy’s Pizza. Our services cover everything from LinkedIn management and training, trade PR, award-writing to crisis communications.

We very much enjoy working in the food and drink sector, but what we enjoy even more, is a good old team lunch! Whether we’re exploring Leeds for a bite or getting something tasty delivered to the office, we love great food and a good chinwag.

Here are our top five team lunches of the year so far…

  1. Water Lane Boathouse – a well-known spot in Leeds to grab a drink and some tasty food everyone will like with waterfront views. We enjoyed fabulous sandwiches, salads, and almighty pizza sandwiches. Water Lane Boathouse also gets the prize for the best fries of 2024 too.
  1. Sqew – taking inspiration from the rich culinary traditions of the Levant, a region in the eastern Mediterranean, Sqew’s menu includes authentic shawarma, falafel and hummus. Rather than head to their store on Duncan Street, we opted for a Deliveroo to Aberfield HQ, and it provided the ultimate meal deal. Delicious shawarma wraps, chips and dips, which led to a very happy (and full!) team.
  1. White Cloth Hall – when Leeds’ latest food hall opened, we had to go and give it a taste test! The team enjoyed Malaysian curries from Kuala Lumpur Café, juicy burgers from Lupton’s Chop House, and Morty’s insanely good (and indulgent!) focaccia sandwiches. It’s safe to say we had a little mid-afternoon slump after this one.
  1. Rudy’s Pizza – famous for its Neapolitan pizzas, and the tastiest pizza in Leeds. We’ve been supporting Rudy’s with PR and influencer outreach for some of its latest launches, including in York and Newcastle, and it’s easily a favourite in the office when it comes to incredible pizza. We recently went to welcome on board our latest consultant Ellie – what better way to induct a new team member than with pizza?
  1. Shokupan – a Japanese restaurant that specialises in katsu sandos and rice bowls. This was our latest Deliveroo choice, and what a treat this was. We all devoured Japanese katsu sandos, dunking into katsu curry dip. This one got messy, but oh so worth it.
