Aberfield scores a new client with Powerleague appointment

Aberfield Communications has been appointed by Powerleague to support its expansion plans

Aberfield Communications has been appointed by the original and premier provider of commercial small-sided football in the UK, Powerleague, to support its expansion plans through PR and communications activity.
Aberfield will deliver ongoing PR support, including regional and national media relations, to raise awareness of Powerleague’s new venues and drive footfall. A key part of the brief is supporting Powerleague’s launch into padel, which is the world’s fastest growing participation sport, with the brand set to become one of the UK’s leading operators in this space, following a £14m investment into UK town and city centre clubs.
In addition, Aberfield is also supporting on larger creative and digital campaigns that align with Powerleague’s wider objectives, including driving greater female participation in football.
