Aberfield makes podium in Business Beats Cancer Yorkshire fitness challenge

Team Aberfield raised a fantastic £1,945 for Cancer Research UK and came an amazing third place in the brilliant HYROX-style fitness challenge in support of Business Beats Cancer Yorkshire!

Our very own top team of Chloe Briggs, Ben Ormsby and Rebecca Goldsworthy – alongside super sub and LNT group finance director Tom Mather – stepped into the Elevate Fitness arena for a sweaty, high-intensity showdown – all to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and its life-saving research.

Thanks to the endurance of our intrepid trio across two gruelling hours of high energy exercise, together with the incredible running power of Tom and our fundraising efforts, we were thrilled to be placed in the top three amongst almost 20 teams of four from across the Yorkshire business community.

It was a fantastic event with a brilliant energy and atmosphere. We met some fantastic people and every rep, run and burpee achieved on the day helped bring society that little closer to beating cancer.
