We became the first agency to be named Outstanding PR Consultancy of the Year and Outstanding Small PR Consultancy in In CIPR's PRide Awards 2016. 

In naming Aberfield the best agency in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, the judges praised our commitment to audience insight and the “emphasis on changing consumer attitudes and behaviours, rather than just promoting awareness”.

They were also impressed by our strong client retention and “drive to use PR to change attitudes and behaviours” and recognised our “commitment to CPD, robust measurement and excellent client servicing”.

We also won:

Best Corporate and Business Communications Campaign– for our work in helping influence conference and events bookers for QHotels. The judges praised the “impressive media strategy and strong layers of innovative tactics, used to excellent effect to deliver defined results. The research was thorough and delivered insights that fed the creative process.”

Best Arts, Culture or Sport Campaign – for our work on the World Triathlon Series Leeds event this year. The judges said it was “a very strong campaign, demonstrating some innovative cross-sectoral thinking – art to promote sport - in order to achieve some very impressive results.”

And, just to top things off, we also won a Silver award for our ‘Magical Leeds’ campaign for LeedsBID.
