After the instant success of running York’s Chocolate Story’s consumer press office, Continuum Leading Attractions, its parent company, tasked us with managing the PR for its group travel offering across its six UK visitor attractions.
Our main objective was to raise awareness of packages and initiatives tailored especially for groups to increase bookings. We worked as a dedicated reactive and proactive press office, contributing regularly to features and issuing exciting news stories via specialist group travel media.
By quickly establishing relationships with journalists, we were able to secure media coverage in every key issue across the group travel sector (more than 60 separate items of coverage over a five-month period), driving enquiries and bookings for each of the six visitor attractions.
