We’ve been working with leading foundry supplies manufacturer John Winter on its largest marketing campaign to date. As part of this, we helped launch the company’s revolutionary and environmentally-friendly product, Geopol, to the foundry market at the industry’s biggest trade show, GIFA 2015.

Geopol is an inorganic sand binder designed to reduce the fume and odour levels during the manufacture of cores and castings, with minimal environmental impact. It can reclaim up to 90% of sand wasted during the process.

The Campaign

We created a marketing plan which included the development of collateral, execution of advertising, the launch of a new website and some ongoing PR activity in the key industry media.

The collateral, a six-page A4 leaflet, was developed to offer valuable advice on how to use Geopol and present some of the key findings so far.

We executed a series of creative adverts which appeared in global industry magazines in the months leading up to GIFA, including a double page gatefold in the main trade show issue.

The new website helped to reflect the company’s ethos and acted as a go-to online platform during GIFA 2015, with information about the company and Geopol.

We secured coverage in every issue of the industry’s leading magazine in the build-up to GIFA, with news content and advice pieces and features.
