Bringing home the bacon with our latest client win.

Apologies for the puns but we just can’t help ourselves following our latest client win. We’re thrilled to have been appointed to manage corporate and trade communications for Karro Food Group and Young’s Seafood.

After being invited to pitch by parent company Eight Fifty Food Group, to work with both brands alongside a number of other leading agencies, we worked closely with the senior teams of both businesses to understand their specific briefs, challenges and opportunities to support both in 2020 and beyond.

Eight Fifty Food Group said that our depth of market knowledge, insight and ability to quickly grasp both sides of the business set us apart from the competition.

Both Karro, one of the UK’s leading pork processors, and Young’s, the UK’s leader in fish and seafood, have been united under the Eight Fifty Food Group umbrella following its recent acquisition of Young’s. This has created a genuine powerhouse in the UK produce market, with combined sales of around £1.2bn.

Since our appointment, we’ve started to deliver trade and corporate PR through proactive media relations, content development and corporate profiling for Karro and Young’s. This includes managing the trade relations around some of the UK’s favourite fish products, including Young’s Gastro and Chip Shop ranges.

We will also continue to manage corporate communications for the Eight Fifty Food Group, and crisis and issues management across the group.

We’re really looking forward to working with Eight Fifty Food Group and of course, to sampling some more of their delicious products!
