A look at Aberfield’s award writing successes so far this year

Posted on Fri 20th Apr, 2018 in: Awards by Katie Wadsworth

Award entry writing is an art form of its own.

When it comes down to it, it’s all about demonstrating measurable outcomes and clear results which, if you haven’t heard already, is something we’re particularly passionate about. We take great pride in award writing and profiling, not only for our clients, but also for ourselves. You have to practice what you preach after all.

The first three months of 2018 have seen plenty of success for our award entries on behalf of clients, with 16 submissions shortlisted for major national, regional and industry awards. These entries aren’t just for our existing clients though, we’ve also had companies come to us specifically for our award writing expertise.

The shortlisted entries include:

Deloitte

  • Yorkshire Accountancy Awards – multiple categories (winner in three categories)
  • North East Accountancy Awards –  Accountant of the Year

NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium)

  • UK National Public Procurement Awards – GO Procurement Innovation / Initiative of the Year Award: Local Government, Central Government and Other Organisations (Other Organisations)

NG Bailey

  • Construction News Awards – Specialist Contractor of the Year and Training Excellence Award
  • Construction News Specialist Awards – Specialist Contractor of the Year (winner)

We've had four award wins from the Construction News Specialist and Yorkshire Accountancy Awards alone, and we’re still waiting for the other results to come in, so watch this space!

We’ve also had an amazing start to 2018 at Aberfield, securing a place on the shortlist for Outstanding Small Consultancy at the CIPR Excellence Awards. No mean feat when every other agency in the land wants to be part of the most prestigious PR sector awards too.

With plenty of national awards left to enter, we’re hoping to see even more success for clients in the months to come.
