A quick round up of things that made us smile this week

Posted on December 5, 2014 by

We’re fairly split down the middle of the office; half of us are mad about football, the other half not so much. But after the latest British football export fell foul of the local lingo, the internet spawned this brilliant Vine of David Moyes speaking Spanish dubbed over the U2 track Vertigo. And that made us all chuckle.

The British Fashion Awards took place on Monday, with some of the biggest names in the fashion world descending on The London Coliseum. Amongst those present were David Beckham, Rhianna and Harrogate Spring Water. That’s right, our client Harrogate Spring Water kept the world’s style icons hydrated throughout the night. Check out HSW on Harry Styles’ table.

As if the announcement of the new Bond film name wasn’t enough to get excited about, Daniel Craig also rocked up to the launch looking like our Year 9 history teacher, and the internet reacted in the only way it knew how: by turning the Bond actor’s crew neck into a Christmas jumper. Kudos Rudolph.

But what really made our week was Arianna Grande’s face. To be exact, the sheer look of horror when model Elsa Hosk gigantic furry wings nearly smacked her in the face during her performance at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in London. Of course, this rather uncharacteristic pose inspired a series of memes, including posing on Kim Kardashian’s bum, sitting inside Lenny Kravitz’s huge scarf and, our favourite, running away from a T-Rex.
