The PR week ahead 11.11.13

Monday 11th – It’s Armistice Day, so remember your two minutes silence at 11:00am

Tuesday 12th – Portraits of some of the world’s biggest stars taken by the likes of Lord Snowdon, Sam Taylor-Johnson, David Bailey and Mario Testino are to be auctioned in aid of the Prince’s Trust. Some of those included are Rihanna, Beyoncé, David Bowie, Sir Elton John and David Beckham.

Wednesday 13th – The Pink Star diamond, the most valuable stone of its kind ever sold, is auctioned in Switzerland and is expected to reach $100 million.

Thursday 14th – The Queen and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh, will visit Manchester to open the new Co-operative Group headquarters. The visit comes on the 150th anniversary of the group’s founding as the Co-operative Wholesale Society (CWS) in Manchester in October 1863.

Friday 15th – Sony releases its Playstation 4 to the US market. This release is the first since the Playstation 3 in 2006, and is expected to spark the next big battle of the gaming consoles.
