Here's a few things happening this week that will be making headlines and providing PR
folk with a few "piggy-back" opportunities.
It's the launch of One Direction's first perfume, 'Our Moment', which will be hitting stores across the UK. Simon Cowell will be smelling a successful launch all the way to the bank.
- Apple has sent out invites for a major product launch. Techie journos tell us it's likely to be the iPhone 5S and it's cheaper cousin, the iPhone 5C.
- Prince William and Prince Harry are set to attend the commemoration of the 9/11 tragedy at Canary Wharf in London. On a lighter note, today is also 'No News Is Good News Day' - whatever that means. To avoid being affected, maybe we need some time off work to get over the bad news?
- The Duchess of Cambridge attends a wildlife awards event in London. It will be her first public event since the birth of baby George. It is also Encouragement Day. Go on, do a handspring and a triple-somersault back-flip. You can do it. You know you can.
You might not want to get out of bed today for fear of being attacked by a kamikaze pigeon or something equally unlucky. It is also Celtic Disease Awareness Day, and Wales hosts the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Perhaps not the most appropriate day for such a dangerous sport? And finally!it's the start of London Fashion Week. Mwah! Mwah!
